About Norah

I have been reading romance for as long as I can remember, and figured writing a romance novel would be a snap. To my chagrin, when I tried it, I discovered it took a lot more skill than I possessed at the time. That was in 1993. I went on to join the Romance Writers of America, got involved in local chapters, and linked up with what I think are the world's greatest critique partners. Many years, and hundreds of thousands of words later, I finaled in RWA's Golden Heart contest in the Long Contemporary category in three consecutive years - 2001, 2002 and 2003. In 2003, I also won Dorchester's New Voice of Romance Contest, resulting in my first sale! Lauren's Eyes, a western-set paranormal romantic suspense, was published in August 2004.

I work full time as an executive assistant for a provincial hospital association, writing madly on weekends and holidays. With my husband of 20 years, two teenage children, a very devoted if not very svelte dog, and two rats, I make my home in Fredericton, New Brunswick, a Canadian province which shares a border with Maine.
